I’m bleeding from inside my brain
Still recovering from intellectual shock after watching There Will Be Blood on the big screen. Shock from moral issues that this Oscar-winning movie presents, primarily the heights (and depths) of one’s ambition and the duel between faith and reason. Portrayed by no less than Daniel Day Lewis, Daniel Planview, the lead character is a man driven by his ambition as an oilman out to step onto anyone who messes up with his grand plans only to find himself at the crossroad of faith later when some things don’t work out for him. The result is a rare cinematic feat that sends chills down your spine and make you bleed inside your brain. Truly full of blood.
