DeBakey Dies

The great American heart surgeon Dr. Michael DeBakey died at 99.  He revolutionized the modern-day bypass surgery and other heart procedures and even had a surgical instrument, a forceps, named after him.  He literally extended the lives of countless people around the world.   A rare feat in life that can be achieved by a doctor.  I wonder now where my niche in medicine is (I’m a frustrated surgeon).
