Inner Motion

Finally the body’s yearning over

Breaths deep and slow

Muscles lose knots of tension

Heart’s a revved up engine

In this solitary quest for calm

Amid tempestuous times

Peace-loving souls must rest

Against all odds

If they are to last

Until the last stretch.
